Another great addition to Kampala’s corporate hangout scene. The place is thoughtfully designed with different seating options, including private dining areas, common dining spaces, and a rooftop terrace where guests can enjoy shisha while dining. It’s also a good spot for watching sports games, with comfortable seating and large screens placed in different sections of the venue. The atmosphere tends to attract Kampala’s corporate crowd, making it a lively place for after work meetups. One downside is the parking situation—large vehicles tend to fill up the lot quite quickly. Kudos to the interior designers who truly breathed life into this facility and created such an inviting space. 👏

This was my second time at Aldea and I have a bit of a mixed review. The food was good. Our group had lunch from the regular menu and the business lunch menu which was extensive. The drinks were fairly good, enjoyed the virgin Aldea mocktail that was absolutely fresh. Unfortunately, Service was quite slow, it was busy and noisy too, the music being played didn’t help set the mood either. The music sounded like we were at a beach rave or something and it was the same beat played over and over again. Unfortunately, Aldea isn’t child friendly. They don’t have a kids menu besides just fish fingers and chicken wings with fries. They also don’t have a play area or colouring books to keep children engaged. It also gets busier in the evenings so would recommend

I have eaten at Aldea twice now and it has not disappointed. Both times were really special. The food is superb. I have tried a number of things on the menu and they all tasted amazing. The atmosphere is superb even on a Monday night. If you want a lovely night with stunning food then you should visit.

I recently visited here with a friend for the first time. The ambiance was cozy, with a modern Asian-inspired design-comfortable. The seafood was fresh, and we really liked the sweet potato croquette, which was surprisingly filling. Service was fast, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience was pretty average. While the food was decent, there wasn’t much that stood out. One downside was the music selection-it didn’t really match the vibe and felt a bit off, though that might depend on personal taste!

The overall experience was nice. My pain points are Bathrooms could be better - they weren't very clean Parking is also tricky. My car front bumper was loosened due to parking on a high pavement outside the restaurant.
