I have visited Kabira Club countless times for swimming. From the beginning, I often felt an unwelcoming atmosphere, with some reception staff coming across as cold and unfriendly. However, I continued going because it is the closest facility to my home with a heated swimming pool. What finally pushed me to write this review was an experience involving my 6-year-old sister. I took her there for swimming and was told at reception that I could not sit on a bench to supervise her unless I paid the full swimming fee of UGX 40,000, despite having no intention of entering the pool myself. I found this policy unreasonable. Are parents and guardians expected to leave young children unattended or pay a swimmer's fee simply to watch them? It was extremely disappointing. Another incident occurred after one of my swimming sessions. I needed to use a hair dryer before leaving. The cleaning staff informed me that the only available hair dryers were located in the gym. When I went there, I was stopped at reception and told I would have to pay an additional fee to access the hair dryer because it was considered a gym facility. As a paying swimming customer, I found it strange that such a basic amenity was unavailable in the swimming area and inaccessible without extra charges. These experiences left me feeling that customer satisfaction is not a priority. Rather than creating a welcoming environment and encouraging customer loyalty, there seems to be a focus on charging extra fees wherever possible. It is disappointing because the facility itself has potential, but good facilities alone cannot make up for poor customer service and policies that leave customers feeling undervalued. I have traveled extensively and experienced excellent hospitality in many places, which makes the contrast even more noticeable. Unfortunately, my experiences at Kabira Club have consistently left me feeling unwelcome and unappreciated as a customer.

As ceo of a reputed company, end up traveling quite often to Uganda. Have stayed at Kabira several times. But the quality of service, attention to details has gone to hell. I had a live insect (fly) in cappuccino offered to our CFO When I called the service manager he took the cup away, offered a casual apology and never got back to me, with the root cause. While having breakfast, I saw the water leaking from the roof on the table I was seated on. Bunch of flies squatting on the food. Basics of good hygiene missing The executive team at Kabira needs to be informed of this poor service levels. I’m not coming back for sure.

I love the heated pool. Another thing I appreciated is that the pool area is restricted to swimmers only, so no one comes to gaze at others. This makes it comfortable. The kids pool is great as well and they have many lovely life savers available
