I was a little disappointed with the tacos at Revive. We ordered for charred chicken tacos but the chicken wasn’t charred. Maybe we just ordered the wrong tacos…the cocktails were great- ordered margaritas and they also had happy hour specials on the side. Since it was a Friday, there was live band which got too loud (especially for a small space) so there was a bit of shouting in order to hear someone speak. I’d like to try out other tacos on their menu and see if there are other options

Amazing farm to table fresh organic food in a beautiful serene location. The fish tacos were to die for, and every bite of my grain fed steak memorable! My friends quite enjoyed each of their menu selections too, especially the build your own “Revive” bowls! They loved the selection and ability to craft their own delicious meal from available fresh items! Don’t forget desert… The house baked choc-chip ice cream cookie sandwich was amazing! Not sure anyone else in Kampala can top that scrumptious desert!

Make your own salad corner : Seared tofu bowl !!! Vegetarian or vegan or Tofu lover- hightly recommended. My choices was : 1. Seared tofu bowl And Grilled mushrooms, Grilled Broccoli, Grilled bell peppers with Brown rice. + Tahini dressing. Somehow taste like an Oriental. Which is I ALWAYS MISSING it.

Nice spot for a quiet meal tucked away on Lower Kololo. The selection and food itself are both reasonable. The staff are friendly. The dining area, up an incline from the road followed by steps, is comfortable but shows its age.

A restaurant that charges $5 (20,000 UGX) for pineapple juice (local fruit in season) is exploitative. That’s double the cost of a beer. Not even the Sheraton rooftop next door has those prices. Foreigners should know that consuming at such prices contributes to social inequality and is simply unreasonable given it’s the price of a full meal at a regular restaurant for locals. This place is not that nice to have these upscale price for a juice. Service was good but unlikely they are paid fairly despite the upscale pricing.
