About Ivoryy Uganda
Tucked away up on the winding stretches of Kololo Hill Lane, Ivoryy has quietly become a dependable spot for anyone looking to escape the heavier traffic of the lower town without sacrificing a good meal. Spanning two cozy floors that naturally draw you in close to the open kitchen, the space has an intimate, personable feel where the staff are quick to welcome you with genuine warmth. It is the kind of rooftop-adjacent nook where tables sit quite near each other, adding to a lively, communal hum while you take in sweeping views over Kampala.
The draw here leans heavily into comfort and consistency, anchored by an all-day breakfast menu that regularly steals the show. Whether you are leaning into fluffy pancakes stacked with berries late in the afternoon, digging into deep bowls of noodles, or sampling crisp salads and honey garlic wings that easily outlast the plate, the kitchen keeps things fresh and unpretentious. Paired with fast-poured cocktails and a steady hum of ambient music, it is an easy place to settle in for a relaxed brunch or an unhurried evening above the city.

The food was fantastic, with reasonable portion sizes (looks smaller at first glance but the bowl goes deeper). Drinks were made fast and well too! The ambient music was at the right volume, coupled with amazing views of Kampala.

Had a pleasant experience at Ivoryy Uganda. I expected the restaurant to be very busy since I dropped by at about 5:30pm however, it wasn’t crowded and the service was very fast. I had the special ivory breakfast which was absolutely delicious even at 6pm 😅. I had hoped to read a little but the music being played was a little loud for my liking. Looking forward to returning and exploring the rest of their menu ☺️

Everyone must try their all day breakfast combo, it’s a 10/10! Booked a birthday dinner with friends and they didn’t disappoint. The blue aesthetics matched our blue themed celebration. Highly recommend

Ivoryy is tucked away in the hills of Kololo. The service was kind and personable. We loved sitting right next to where the food was prepared. The delicious smells draw you in! We tried an assortment of items at our table and loved all of them. Chicken with mushroom sauce, chicken mozzarella sticks, Caesar salad, potato wedges, and chicken wings. The star of the show were those honey garlic wings! They fell off the bone and had the perfect level of sweet and savory. The fruit pancakes were well prepared and the team celebrated our friend’s birthday with great energy! Prices are high, but start saving your shillings now because you’ll want one of everything on the menu!

Place is nice and cozy. Very friendly staff. All eager to greet you and have yoh seated which is nice. Wonderful environment. The restaurant covers 2 floors. The food in my opinion was lovely. Had tea with waffles and chicken with pancakes. Can't complain about any of the food. The only issue I have with the place is that its a bit small. So not lots of space and the tables are quite near each other. Other than that its a great place
