Food was delicious but pricey, and the roof top ambiance Is really small compared to advertised. The general environment has beautiful potted flowers and real African aesthetic. The originality is interesting. The service was lovely and the waiting staff was patient. Generally I would not mind coming back. It's a lovely and intimate space. Suited for small couple gatherings .

It was my first going to The Aleph and I must say I loved it. The food was very delicious. I don't know if it was hunger but, I was mighty impressed. It did take a little time for our food to come but judging by the number of people around, it was understandable. My friends and I had different meals from Quesadillas to pork ribs to chicken and burgers. We all loved our food and definitely had a good time hanging out there. The only downside for me was the size of the chicken thighs. I got three but they were smaller than I expected. I guess I wanted to eat more and it was already gone. Overall, definitely going to go back over and over again to try as many dishes as I can. I loved the interior, rooftop with plants and lights and just having the perfect ambiance for a conversation.

βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ The Aleph Rooftop Restaurant β Kampala Found the restaurant on Instagram so decided to try and not disappointed us! We had a wonderful experience at Aleph Rooftop Restaurant. We ordered the jerk chicken, BBQ pork ribs, pork chop, nachos, BBQ drumsticks, and a whole fried tilapia for the kids. Everything was nice, decent, and very well prepared. They brought food for the kids first which was very thoughtful! The prices are reasonable, and the portions are just right - not too small and not overly big. We all truly enjoyed the food, the cocktails, and the relaxing rooftop atmosphere so totally forgot to take pictures of the delicious food! Overall, it was a great dining experience, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! πΉπ½οΈβ¨

The aesthetics were pleasing. I liked the privacy to each table. Itβs a calm environment. The customer care was good. The food was okay. I ate the beef steak with a single prawn.

Today (9th January, 2025) was the third time we have been at The Aleph for dinner. We've ALWAYS had a good experience but today was disappointing and that was it for us! The place was very full and I would have rather been told it is full and come another day than to have a table and chair too close to other customers (we also come there to relax and have cozy BUT private talks). Secondly, the music was too loud. My wife got a stroke three years ago and now talking loud and listening are a challenge (the Aleph did NOT cater for our physical challenge today). I raised this point and was first promised lowering of the obviously too loud music but when this did not happen, I asked and was told that this was the lowest volume which OBVIOUSLY was not true. Another waitress came and asked if we were fine and I said we were not fine because of the noise etc etc but she told me; "this is a restaurant". This was so offensive like we were in a restaurant for the first time. She went further to say that we were the only ones complaining and no one else had complained (which made me wonder if she cared about our opinion other than those that had kept silent). The burgers we took were obviously not as nice as before. The Aleph, we were/are truly disappointed and clearly have had the worst restaurant experience in our life.
